I tried improving my draping skills by drawing this lady wearing Hijab. I definitely can't remember the last time I focused on working on a folded cloth or sheet because most of my concentrations have been on the face and facial expressions.
I like how those fabrics fall and fold round her face. Makes her appear anonymous. The drawing was done with a blue ballpoint pen on a cardboard paper. I used cross hatching technique to create this piece. Below are my steps:
