I wanted this piece to have a simple but playful meaning. The skull, bones, shades, and rugged look give it that tough, carefree character, but underneath the style is a reminder that life is temporary.
For me, it represents living, having your own style, and not taking every moment too seriously. The skull is often associated with death, but here I wanted to give it a little personality, almost like saying, "life is short, so make it yours".
It's a simple piece, but I enjoyed playing around with the expression and details.
