So i recently got a rescue dog, a staffy x with something maybe labradore. He's 2 years old and i doubt he had any training before i found him.
I want to help people with big dogs that pull on the lead and how i solved his sled dog pulling style.
First off i purchased a head harness ( pic below) that clips under the chin. Second a chest harness. Then i made a lead with one handle and two leads coming off it. 1st lead goes to the back of the chest harness, this is incase he slips out of the head harness and tackles a kangaroo.
Then the other lead goes under the chin, this lead should hold all the tension while the chest harness lead is slack. You can run the chin lead through the back of the chest harness so it slips through, stops tangles.
This method has saved me alot of stress when walking and i would really encourage anyone having problems try it out.
