I didn't know that about the Sakura trees. But there are still some places with very young and small tress which seems to have still many years to grow and shine. Hopefully some people will take on the challenge of planting new trees, there is so much money wasted for useless countryside roads into nowhere, why not plant some more Sakura trees as well.
Would be nice if they had cherries as well, but I guess we had to compromises to one thing :)
