Car manufacturers have a specified manner of perspective of which a car should be properly maintained but some of owners always fail to meet up and it is very disheartening. The cooling system of a vehicle is a system that requires timely observation, starting from the coolant reservoir to the level of daily required water, the status of the radiator should always be in check also. The transmission system requires more attention also, starting from the gearbox to the transfer case and then to the propeller shaft and then rear axle then to the driving wheels. Every noise heard is very important to take note of.
The dip stick of both the engine oil and the transmission fluid should always be kept in check to always make sure that the quantity of both the engine oil and transmission oil that is available would be enough to run the engine effectively and efficiently. The quality of this oil should also be taken note of, a bad quality of oil would always depreciate the lifecycle of the engine and gearbox. The electrical systems which are present in the automobile should also be always checked but should never be touched or opened by any non automobile electrician specialist. The fuse in the fuse box should after a period be also changed or replaced after some years. The steering also is very important, the level of the power steering fluid in the containing vessel should never go below the lower level. This could spoil the power steering and could also make the steering hard to steer or control. The two houses that connect the power steering containing vessel to the power steering pump should always be inspected well because if there is a leakage anywhere, it can render the power steering useless and it would make steering difficult.
