Happiness isn’t in our acquisitions.

As I trekked down the street of farmers settlement and found out that most of the people inside that remote area are very happy people. They have almost nothing, no good house, no good drinking water, no electricity etc. but yet I found them very happy.

I met two young children on my way and decided to make them friends and also talked with them.

One of the questions that I asked them was what makes them happy. And their answer really touched me. “Any time we wake up and see our friends around, then we’re happy”.

alt

These happy people live in mud huts, there’r no hospitals 🏥 nor good roads anywhere around them.

Their children travels miles away in search of drinking water from rocks and caves, yet they’re happy people.

At the end of my dealings with them, I concluded in my heart that happiness could be found anywhere irrespective of our surrounding factors.

alt

I really appreciate the courage in the eyes of these friends. There’re people that have it all but yet they’re not as happy and contented as these people that I met today.

They really encouraged me and made me realize that there’s happiness everywhere, it’s natural to be happy, joyful and thankful.

Thanks for coming around. I hope you like the original pictures from a remote place of Africa. Thanks.
