With the markets continue to drag lower or flat apparently some of the largest publicly used cryptocurrency services are reducing their reward yields to users. From BlockFi, to Celsius and now Crypto dot com the reduction of reward yields specifically to stable coins are spreading like wild fire. This is not good for those who have cryptocurrency in the services listed but it maybe another reason to be bullish on Anchor Protocol.

Stable Coin Yields Falling

Blockfi came out with amazing rates for stable coins but over the year has been dropping. Recently new drop in their rates:

Before and Now

For instance USDT from 9% and up to $40k down to 8% and up to $20k.

Same goes for Celsius as they announced in the past week with new rates on the left and existing rates on the right.

Both USDC and USDT down to 7.1% where originally was 8.5%.

Then there is crypto dot com. Recently they came out disclosing on April 2, 2022 they will have rates on reward yields revised. The stable tokens drop in yield and limited to $30k. Above that amount the yields are cut in half.

With all the rewards reduced one would think the who cryptocurrency market is in a full down trend.

Anchor Saves The Day!

Yet there are still platforms offering the same yields it has been providing for over a year, such as that on Anchor Protocol. Terra blockchain has extremely kept itself ahead of the pack and maintains the reward yields for its users. Stable coin yielding nearly 20% and remains so for the foreseeable future.

Why would people use Crypto dot com, Blockfi, or Celsius when Anchor now more than double the yield in stable coin? I don't see a bear around the Terra ecosystem....

One last item if you are interested in where I found most of the rates info on services I listed here in the post see link below:

https://www.cefirates.com/ is a great place to compare platform reward yields and find what highest yields.
