With so much hype around Splinterlands now and less than a two weeks before the presale of Chaos Legions begins it maybe a good time to take a overall look at the net worth of the game now and come the start of the Chaos Legions roll out. All data directly from Splinterlands.com
Boy what a year can make? In middle of 2019 I remember that was a moment in time Splinterlands card collection hit over $10 million. Now that is just a blip in the overall chart as to date the net worth of all cards in Splinterlands exceeds $265 million. An all time high.
With a little over two days left of the season the rising rates of rental is coming close. Another all time high in rentals may arrive tomorrow. As of now over 880k cards are rented out with an overall price near $74k.
For most of November each day the volume of cards trading in value exceeds $300k. That is to say everyday over $300k of currency is exchanged for Splinterlands cards. This is close to all time highs and the trend continues to rise.
One of my most favorite charts is the net worth of each players card collection. The majority of holders are in the $10 - $100 deck collection while there has been a small increase in decks $10-$100k and $100k - $1M. Overall most players have net worth decks below $1k.
At peakmonsters.com the chart shown above tacks on the total SPS tokens and DEC tokens entire market cap. Both combine is close to $188 million, just slightly 70% over the market cap of the cards alone. This number does not include unopen packs, lands, titles, skins, nfts or vouchers.
It is easy to guess that Splitnerlands can continue to rise in prices as time moves forward. There will be new cards coming out in the rewards and once the Chaos Legions cards are official in distribution that will tack on to all the current numbers we are seeing. A bright future ahead for the game and the $$$$ values shows.
