Title of this post is definitely a click bait. I first learned about Juno chain about a few days ago and am still learning if in fact it can be an Ethereum killer. It is clear for some investors that Juno is indeed a good investment to be in as price of the token in the past few days have remained very steady even though the cryptocurrency market had a significant dip.

The price of the native token Juno is near all time high and it is clear the price did not dip much or long in the recent cryptocurrency dip. So why is it that people are flocking into Juno?

Juno's Air Drops and Incentives

Juno is a chain built on the Cosmos ecosystem and with that in its introduction it has been providing air drops to stake holders of Cosmo's ATOM. In addition since Juno is tied to Cosmos there are platforms that can yield Juno incentives such as Osmosis pools or better yet stake Juno for air drops.

Last December staking Juno would yield stakers a nice amount of NETA tokens.

Rules to getting the NETA air drop:

Apparently not difficult to do and staking 25 Juno at current prices is only around $750. Had I staked those Junos the NETA air drop alone would have more than cover the cost of the Junos I staked. So clearly there are lucrative air drops with staking Juno.

Upcoming air drops for staking Juno are:

You maybe wondering why there can be so many air drops coming around for Juno stakes. The main reason is likelyt due to its ease of programming for users to creating DAOs.

Smart Contracts

As earlier mentioned Juno can potentially be a Ethereum killer. This is because the platform is for creating smart contracts. Some of the tools on the protocol is simple to use that even people who do not have background in coding can implement their own projects on Juno.

Creating a DAO without any programming skills now that is impressive. With ease of use of Juno to create projects this is likely going to be the future where the use of a protocol for non-programmers will widen the audience on a specific platform.

Conclusions

Juno is currently traded on Osmosis only but I would assume once it expands it will be traded on big centralized exchanges. Meanwhile the demand of the native token Juno is high due to air drops and potential utilities. In addition Juno has a swap protocol for use in the future to swap easily through various coins/tokens.
