This is my entry-DIY Greeting Card Making Contest

Hi everyone, this is my entry for the DIY Greeting Card authored by @mermaidvampire. I actually love to do crafts. I even tried to sell some of my handmade crafts and some of it were sold. But I had no time to continue making because of my full time work. So this is my chance to also share my piece of art to everyone.
I chose to make a card for my dad because his birthday is already near. I haven't seen him for years since we transferred here in the province so I might as well send him the card I made hoping he receives it before the day of his birthday.
So here's the materials I used in making this card.

I saw a unique design suited for my card because it really is for men.
So this is the procedure:
1.) I first cut and drew a tie and sticked it on my card.
2.) The I put a design to make it more creative. I put some beads to make it shine.

The materials I used were all taken from my art box wherein I put all of my art accessories that were used before when I was still making my own diy crafts.

3.) When I was finished with the beads, I put some balloons inside the card on the left side with a lettering. I just did a simple lettering out of the paper foam. Sorry it looks like the stick of the balloon was not in place.

4.) And the last part was the most difficult, writing my message.

So this is the finished product!!! It really gives a sense of fullfillment knowing that you took the time and effort to really make something special to your loved ones. I hope this card reaches my father before his birthday on April 3.
