... know me, I started Vlogging on Youtube in 2016 with little success, however I was also lucky to meet new social media alternatives like Steemit and Now APPICS. Long story short, my youtube channel and 90 % of youtube content creators are about to be seriously affected due to Google’s past Mistakes and that they lost a lawsuit to COPPA so they created new rules that will apply starting next January. So if your youtube channel is appealing to kids(this is vague, youtube actually stated that you should consult a lawyer in this matter since the company will not help you) if your channel content is indeed for kids, you wont get visibility and youtube will not promote your content on the platform. If COPPA and the FTA think your channel is kid appealing and you didnt report it as “kid friendly”you will be fined with 42,000 usd. This is Crazy and lots of content creators are becoming more frustrated since they are about to lose profits and their channels being demonetized because they can get Fined. I know APPICS is all about pictures and short videos but I find this a useful alternative and solution to the traditional social medias like FAcebook and Instagram and even youtube.This is the moment for APPICS to succeed and this is the reason why Im here. Still Im rooting for other projects I love like Steemit which can actually be useful for youtubers. Im still gonna be posting on tradtional social media but with a little bit of more caution with my content and how I report this video as family friendly and never earn a profit from it. Im so Happy to be using APPICS and Steemit.
