I'm a lazy cook, but when I feel like cooking I will put my 馃挴 efforts in it.
Stumbled upon this chilli garlic prawns recipe online but wanted to give it my own twist.
So tried something different with Prawns, which is also one of my most favourite Seafood item and if it's on any restaurant menu, I'll hop up and order it in one go.
So here's my twist of chilli garlic prawns that anyone who loves seafood can give a try 鉂わ笍
First I removed the shell of the prawns and deveined them. After cleaning them I added 4 tsb kabab fry masala that I had at home and along with that 1tsp of ginger garlic paste and 1 egg.
Mixed all these ingredients and covered the vessel and kept it for marination in the refrigerator for 9-10 hours so that the masala is absorbed by the prawns nicely.
Next I cut up 1 full garlic pod and some ginger. So here I took more of garlic and less of ginger. Next since it's chilli garlic prawns I cut up 4 chilli and kept it aside.
Next I chopped some 2 onions, 1 tomato, 2 capsicum into cubes and kept it aside.
I started with heating the pan and added 2-3 tsb of oil and shallow fried the prawns until done. Once my prawns were well fried golden brown and crisp, I removed them from the vessel and kept it aside.
Next I took another vessel and added some oil, once it heated up I added ginger and garlic and fried them.
Next I added onion and slit the chilli's and toss fried them.
Next in line I added the tomato and last on I added cubes of capsicum.
Tossed all of them nicely in the vessel and kept it covered for some time.
Next I added 2 tsp of soy sauce and 2 tsp of red chilli and green chilli sauce. Ended it by adding 1 TSP of tomato sauce for the twist.
Lastly added the shallow fried prawns and tossed everything together and covered and cooked for sometime.
Garnish with some freshly cut coriander (Here I didn't have it so skipped the garnishing).
Tadaaa chilli garlic prawns is ready, enjoy with some freshly made chapatis 鉂わ笍
