The Spiny Hill Terrapin has more spikes than a cactus in the middle of Spring. But for real, they have many spikes surrounding their shells and along the center of their backs. They are also called the Spiny Turtle for good reason. Their scientific name is Heosemys spinosa which uses the Latin word Spinosa directly translating to prickly.
