Finally, I have inspiration for a quick chat about a children’s taxi I took a ride in today, and how awful the condition is.
I won’t mention the taxi company on here, because when I complained they said they were taking the taxi out of service straight away to check it over.
So today I ordered a Taxi for my wife, daughter and I. I use a special service, where they basically search for a local taxi l, ideal for carrying my precious daughter.
Usually, the car I get is in good shape, and a nice size, but today I had a Hyundai Solaris, which did the job ok, even though it’s smaller than their usually child-friendly Taxi.
I had a feeling something wasn’t right, and when I was nearing our house I noticed that the driver's airbag had previously exploded. Now back in England, a car has to be fixed to a certain high level, but this car had the airbag cable-tied back together again. It made me think, how badly was this kids taxi put back together again, after its accident. Did I have an airbag, did my daughter have a side airbag? Who knows.
When I got out of the car to get my daughter, I noticed that one of the wheel-nuts had been snapped off, so in theory, only 3 nuts were holding it on. I had no time to check the rest of the car, but I could now see that the car wasn’t greatly repaired.
It made me realise that I need to check the car quickly before getting on it, especially with my family in the car. I can’t wait to get my Russian licence and start driving again, as I know my car is safe :)
