Huong Que - neat Vietnamese restaurant in Berlin which catches your eye
I'm still not sure what those thingies in the front of the restaurant are, but they were interesting enough to catch interest of 4 starving developers after 10 hours of working. Vietnamese? Sounds good, let's get it!
First nice surprise was that the restaurant was full to the very last place. That's always a good sign. The problem was that there was no place for us. When the waiter said we need to wait just 5 minutes and it ended up being really just 5 mins, it happened to be the second good point for them :)
Then we wanted to order. I gotta say the list was really confusing...3 of 4 of us thought that the left page is only in english and right one is in german....but it was actually english/german/english/german....pretty confusing. I don't have a pic but I've found one online so here it is.
Anyway, I've ordered vegan crispy chicken from seitan with some vegg and rice. It was for 11 Euros straight. We've also got 4 spring rolls, each for 2 Euros. Soo prices were nothing crazy. I'd expect something like that from Berlin.
The best of it all was that curry coconut milk sauce! I just looooooved it! But I mean..everything was suupertasty.. But I was also quite hungry so I'd eat stones in that moment. But it was definitely suuper tasty.
I've decided to show off a little bit and eat rice with sticks :D
But rice wasn't really sticky enough to do so. Also, my skills probably aren't there as well :D So I pretty quickly changed for spoon :)
What was also very nice, we got bottled water for free :). All in all, I'd definitely visit Huong Que again if I had a chance :) You can check their webpage HERE.
