A Function Machine

We feed in "x" (any number) then it goes through the function machine (doubled up, subtracted, square rooted, multiplied, divided, whatever); after application of some or all of the operations we get some other number which we call the output. We represent output as "y" or f(x). Also input known as "Domain" of the function and the output is called the "Range" of the function.
