I know that HF20 is a big deal and it means the future of steemit but, I have still seen many of the intrinsic issues that steemit presents exist. I am not really sure how the mana thing will effect the dynamic of the platform but my initial experience with it was pretty bad. Being locked out for a couple days sucked but it also gave me time to look into steemit's competition
I have seen that there are quite a few growing competitors for steemit rising up and depending on how their platforms evolve we will see who takes the lead. My faith is steemit is shaken but i still think there is room for growth in the future. Now seems like the time to expand one portfolio and be prepared just in case steemit tapers off into obscurity. Many have said steemit is the myspace of this blockchain social media phenomenon. So time will tell if it has staying power or will fall wayward.
