Did you know by the year 2100 the earth will have risen 7 degrees on average thanks to global warming? That is 2 degrees above the 5 degrees that scientists have said will be catastrophic for the global population. The trend has of course been pushed along by the corporate titans that still deny while actively contributing to global warming. THe efforts of governments and activists seem to be falling short of the mark because it seems half of our population is against saving the planet.
The propaganda that has been emanating through the public opinion has trained people to not believe and support ideas backed in religion and lies instead of the dire truth that faces us I THIS CENTURY. It is disheartening to see that humanity as a whole is so easily controlled by small numbers of folks who perpetuate an unsustainable future. If we don't change soon then this planets beauty will become a commodity to be sold as an escape from the hellscape that parts of earth will become.
Nearly half of the forests in the world are degraded or destroyed and it seems like the people behind it are willing to kill to keep it going as long as it makes money. My question is what good is money in a ravaged world, how can one expect to enjoy the world they destroyed? It is seriously a dire situation when we could be facing an extinction level event by the end of the century.
