The National Union of Rivers State Students, Federal University of Technology, Owerri Chapter in Nigeria, had a Congress meeting yesterday.
I am a proud member of the above Union in my institution, and a one time Public Relations Officer, yesterday during Congress I introduced the steemit platform and community to the union .
I thought the union members on how to just blog, upvote and earn, I answered questions relating to steem, steem power and sbd ,etc
It was an open air meeting,so there wasn't any VDU to show them my blog, though I talked extensively about steemit.
This are some pictures :
This is me explaining as best as I can
Result: I registered 4 persons on the spot and over 10 student indicated interest to register and planned to register as soon as they got to their hostels and lodges.
This is part of my efforts to reach over 15k person with the steemit ideology before the end of March 2018
Suggestions on how to achieve my goal will be appreciated ...
Thanks for reading.
