Lets face it, most of the world's population has no idea what Cryptos are. Of those that have heard about them, still most simply think of them as a passing fad and way to dangerous to place any money into them. Those like me who have spent the intellectual energy to get to the bottom of what they are are a rare breed indeed.
It is no wonder that this information asymmetry exists.
After all, the average man on the street in almost all countries is only aware of the economic workings of their monetary systems at the most superficial of depths - as much as they need to know to survive. Which is quite shallow indeed.
This allows the masters of the universe (central and commercial bankers, and all their pundits and cheerleaders in the MSM) to spin a parallel language of arcane terminology geared to disguise rather easy to understand but unpopular policy choices as complicated and delicate adjustments to the exceedingly intricate and complex machinery of economics. Those that try to lift the veil off of the labyrinthine construct, which overly complicates the basic understanding of economic theory, are often derided as simpleton buffoons who themselves do not grasp the finer workings of this recondite science.
Throw into this mix the ending of a 70+ year debt super cycle, the spontaneous appearance of Bitcoin, and the tick of the demographic time bomb of the developed western populations and the maturation of the pension obligation myth, and you have one hell of a show on stage.
There will be tears!
