Hey, everyone! This topic is the second half of the winner's mindset. If you want to check out the first half, you can read about the growth mindset here.
Winner's Mindset = Growth Mindset + Positive Mindset
Although the growth mindset is important, we can not disregard positivity. Positivity is extremely important. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Your mindset influences your actions and your actions influence your success in life.
There are two things that we should all know: positivity is both influential and contagious. If you're feeling sad and a friend approaches you when they are extremely happy, their positivity is going to rub off on you and help lift your emotions. That friend's positivity was so contagious that it was able to change your emotions. Positivity is so powerful that a simple smile can change your whole emotional state or maybe even your life.
As for influence, positivity has a huge influence on our actions and overall performance. To provide an example, let's talk about sports. If I'm playing a sport with my team while I have a positive mindset, I'm going to run faster, hit harder, and do everything better. I'll even start motivating my other teammates to share the positivity and its effects. But if I have a negative mindset, it's going to have the complete opposite effects. I'm not going to try as hard to win, I'm going to start giving up halfway through the game, and that negativity is going to be passed on to my teammates.
If we know that having a positive mindset is beneficial to us for our performance in our everyday lives, don't you think it's important for us to fill our mind with positive thoughts and surround ourselves with positive people? Of course!
Always seek positivity but also remember to spread positivity too because you never know who is in need of a smile. :D
