Been a huge Beatles fan my whole life but just got around to listening to this album. It basically sounds like every other indie rock album that has come out since the 90's, which is impressive considering this came out in the 70's. Paul McCartney gets shit on a lot by people who either say he was boring or not as good as Lennon, but if you consider he made one of the first metal songs of all time (Helter Skelter) as well as possibly the first indie-rock record, in addition to being in the most influential band of all time, his legacy is pretty much untouchable. Pay your respects to a legend.
