In the small town of Salem lived a single mother of three who lost her husband in the cold hands of death, Mrs Anderson and her three children, Grace, Jayne and Chris. They lived happily in a half completed bungalow house managing whatever life presents to them on a daily basis.

Mrs Anderson works 24 hrs daily. Working as a teacher and cook. This leaves her feeling exhausted and stressed out. She had always thought of stopping one of the jobs but the future of her children was her paramount concern.
Grace and Jayne are already in the university pursuing their careers while Chris is on the verge of writing his final exams in the secondary. Taking care of these expenses wasn't an easy one for Mrs Anderson but she was a strong woman who believed in fighting until the end.
These children had pleaded with their mother to allow them to do part time jobs so as to assist and make things much easier but Mrs Anderson wouldn't want anything to interfere with their studies.
One night after their meal, the family stepped out to receive fresh air. After some stay, Mrs Anderson had gone inside, leaving the three to come in on their own will.
Chris looked up the sky with his eyes fixed on a shooting star. He pointed at the star and began making a wish as her siblings watched him.
"I wish we can all have money and take good care of our mother and move to a better house."
Grace smiled, "everyone wishes for an easy life but if life presents itself to be easy, we will all abuse it without seeing the value."
"I agree with you Grace. Working hard for what we need brings long lasting joy and a sense of accomplishment when it's achieved."
Chris nodded in agreement to their points "I believe that wish does come through.
The three siblings went in together but Chris kept reminiscing on his wish.
"Do you believe wishes come true for us?" A dazzling creature appeared before him.
Trembling, he answered boldly "Yes."
"You made a wish and my duty is to grant your wish. But for your wish to be granted, there is a task."
Chris curiously asked "what is the task?"
"There is a button hidden in this territory, to find it requires patience and strength. Any expression of laziness, exhaustion or weariness will make your wish not to be granted and all your efforts will be in vain."
"Immediately you find it, make your wish and press the button. Now you can begin."
Just when he was about to begin his journey of looking for the button, he was tapped.
"Wake up Chris, today is Monday. Get up and do your chores and get ready for school."
"Mum!!!You shouldn't have tapped me, I was about finding an end to our life struggles in my dream and you interrupted that journey."
"Oh, Chris the dreamer. Pardon me, May I know what the dream was about? I may have an interpretation to it."
Chris narrated the story to his mum and siblings who had come to join them in the bedroom.
"Even without me tapping you, do you know you can still spend hours looking for this button in your dream to press without finding it until you wake yourself?"
"Mum , What if I had found it and pressed the button?"
"My son, the angel you saw in your dream had already delivered his message to you. In order for your wish to come true, you have to work hard without quitting. Whenever you quit, you are defeated."
Mrs Anderson was able to interpret the dream to her children and they lived all their life remembering that in life one must work hard without relenting. Any thought of relenting leads to defeat.
