Hello everyone, it's another week of weekend engagement, Week 164, and we are instructed to choose what to write on from the lists that were made here is the one I chose:
Cheat and confession (one)
Your partner has an affair but eventually confesses to you and wants to work it out with you. What do you do and why? A post of 300+ words is required using your own photos if possible.
cheating in a relationship is a breach of trust that can inflict lasting damage in any relationship, I can't find a genuine reason why someone should cheat on their partner, after all, they proclaim they love their partner in the first place, but if it seems they no longer love the person anymore, it's better to let them know so that everyone will move on with their life, it's always better than making the relationship messy. Some people try to justify their cheating, but in my thoughts, there's no way to justify a cheating partner, there's no tangible excuse that will make me succumb to cheating.
Cheating is one of the things I detest with passion in a relationship, and I wouldn't want to make the mistake of falling into the hand of someone who will cheat on me, that's why I must look before I leap..lol. No matter what, one should not cheat on their partner, getting caught is an inescapable reality of unfaithfulness in a relationship and this is one tangible reason one should not get involved in the act. So perhaps I have a partner who is cheating on me and he came to me himself to confess his infidelity, and he promised to work things out.
To be candid, I'm ending it there!
However, I'm gonna appreciate the fact that he confesses to me, but I'm not going to give room to allow him to work things out, not anymore.. hehehe. The reason why I will never move on with the relationship was because things will never be as they used to be, so I don't find a reason why I should remain in the relationship where I will feel insecure because, in my thoughts, a cheater will always be a liar too.
Yeah, he told me he will change and work things out, but how can I believe that, because I have labeled him as a liar, I will find it difficult to trust him again. That's one of the damages that Infidelity can cause in a relationship. Trust is one of the foundations for building a healthy relationship and it will be very difficult to build any relationship when the trust is broken. So, If decided to agree with him, I will not trust him easily even when he's saying the truth, not only that, my mind will not be at rest, whenever he's not around, because I will be thinking he's still cheating on me.
I'm gonna lost my respect too!
That's the fact about me because I have seen him as a liar, I will no longer respect his opinions and my attitudes will not remain the same, I will always see him as an ordinary person. The act of cheating can't sit well with me, I won't give room for a second chance, sounds mean! but I find it better that way, the fact is that no matter how I love someone, knowing that he's cheating on me will ruin everything, it only takes one nasty moment to break a loved one’s heart, and the respect will be gone forever, like forever!
