I have been questioning my need to post here every now and then, sometimes bursting with inspiration only to hit some sort of plateau at some point.
Of course, I ask myself if my posts add any value to the community, apart from the fact that I get an opportunity to express myself without being judged. I hope.
The disillusionment is real, the hunger for engagement is also real, and the vain rush of seeing likes is also real. Somewhere in there, it is easy to lose sight into what is important.
I don't know if what I post inspires others or just bombards the timeline of this platform in the hopes of gaining some up-votes in the name of 'passive income'.
While signing up on this platform, I saw it as a unique opportunity and was inspired by some of the gains some members had attained when the platform was still young-ish. Now that it has matured, quality content is king.
I want to bring in quality. I also want to purge the kind of post that I have put up in the past that lack that quality, but can't. Unless i'm missing something, it should be possible to curate one's own content.
I think from now on, I will try to post content while being more intentional.
