Has Hive changed the way you use social media or the internet?

Hive is a web3 decentralised blockchain. An ecosystem that has empowered bloggers to create their content and share the same on different front ends of their choice without any restriction. However, the blogger must read and heed to the rules and regulations guiding such community.
According to my findings, Hive currently have above 101 active communities and several dApps available for use from start of anything cryptocurrency activity to the finishing point. This includes earning, spending, swapping, and trading. Therefore, it is safe to say that Hive is a full package blockchain home.
I onboarded to Hive blockchain on June 2025. Initially, my intention was to come and catch fun, interact with people and earn because I was tired of the fake life and bullying on the other social platforms I belong to. However, the narrative changed after a few months.
First, the love, support and genuineness of the people I met here was surreal. They were open to guide, correct, lead and empower newbies to succeed. I can remember vividly how I was empowered with some Rc's to assist my eficiency in posting and making comments.
Gradually, I became obssessed with Hive and before you know it I became consistent owing to the counsel and overwhelming support from the blockchain. To the extent that there is an adage in my family right now that, 'if you are looking for me and couldn't find me, just check the Hive blockchain"
Furthermore, Hive became a home of learning and unlearning for me. I learnt to format and write better. My written and use of English also improved. My level of professional engagement with people online improved. Now, I am more careful about the things I write and how I relate with people.
Additionally, my networking capabilities, intentional and professional writing improved. More so, it taught me time discipline the more, knowing that every activity here is time bound hence ,my time manageent improved.
Infact, the Hive blockchain gave me a second home instead of a social media platform, connected me with beautiful friends that are building great memories that will be dificult to erase. A memory I will cherish for a lifetime.
