Good morning to all friends of this nice community. This is my first post here. I hope you like it, it is an original poetry of mine. I dedicate it to everyone in the group. The poetry is about the respect we have to have with everything around us and above all not to exceed the limits. I hope you like it. See you soon.

Are we all like threads of the same web?
The truth is yes, each one of us brings his color, his direction, his tension to this net called life.
The wind blows for everyone,
but it does not tear the leaves from the tree
that knows how to find its own space.
There are no voices that need to be raised,
when the calm of a whisper
has the weight of a thousand words.

The strength is not in shouting first,
but in listening without fear of silence.
For example a gesture, like the sun that sets,
does not ask permission to shine,
but neither does it burn beyond its place,
respecting the shadow of the other.
We walk on a shared ground,
and the echo of our steps
is heard in the ears of others.

Who am I to cover with stones
the path that others seek with the same thirst?
Respect is the art that goes beyond observing,
without breaking what I do not understand,
it is a river that flows
but does not drag the roots in its path.
It is not giving in, nor is it ignoring,
it is finding the place where we can all
can breathe the same breeze
without tearing each other's breath away.
