Greetings everyone, I welcome you all to my blog.
It's another great day to listen to the word of God by his servant Bro Eli Soriano.
One major reason evil has become widespread in today’s world is that humanity has turned away from God. Our decision to turn our backs on Him is reflected in the increase of wickedness, diseases, and many other problems we see in society today.
By abandoning God and embracing Satan, we have made a wrong choice. As a result, evil has gradually become part of our daily lives and has spread throughout society.
In Jeremiah 32:30–33, God explains that the children of Israel and Judah continually did evil from their youth. They provoked Him through the works of their hands, causing His anger to rise against them. The city became a source of His wrath because of their persistent disobedience. Their kings, princes, priests, prophets, and the people of Jerusalem all contributed to this wrongdoing. Instead of turning their faces toward God, they turned their backs on Him. Although He taught them faithfully and repeatedly, they refused to listen and accept corrections.
The final verse shows that the Israelites chose to turn away from God and align themselves with evil. This shift from God’s path to the way of the devil has allowed suffering and destruction to spread across the world.
This is also confirmed in 1 Timothy 5:15, which says that some people have already turned aside to follow Satan.
From these scriptures, we can understand that many of the troubles in the world today are a result of humanity’s decision to abandon God and follow Satan, which has robbed people of peace.
However, Acts 26:18 reveals God’s solution: to open people’s eyes, turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are made holy by faith.
Through the teaching of the apostles, God continues to call people back to Himself. By turning their faces toward Him again, they can receive forgiveness, be sanctified by faith, and experience restoration and peace in the world.
