The wealth and resources of the world could have been fairly shared among all people if not for the greed of a few individuals who choose to accumulate everything for themselves.
Greed is one of the major problems affecting society today. Many people are focused on taking everything they can, while others are left to struggle with hunger, hardship, and poverty.
However, our Lord Jesus Christ reminds us in John 16:33 that we should not lose hope. He said that He spoke these words so that we may have peace in Him. Although we will face troubles and challenges in this world, we should remain courageous because He has already overcome the world.
Through this message, we are reminded that trials and difficulties are part of life, but we should not allow them to discourage us. Instead, we should keep our faith strong, knowing that Christ has already gained victory.
In the teaching shared by Bro. Eli, he encouraged believers not to lose hope even in difficult situations. He explained that during the pandemic, his restaurant had to close, yet he and his workers remained hopeful about what the future would bring.
He also mentioned examples from the Bible about people who experienced poverty but remained faithful. One example is Lazarus, who did not allow his suffering or poverty to take away his faith. He kept his focus on the promise of eternal life and the hope of a new heaven and a new earth with Christ at the end of time.
In conclusion, we should not allow greed or the hardships of this world to shake our faith. Instead, we should remember that Christ has already overcome the world, and through Him we can remain hopeful and strong.
