War, Starvation And Suffering-What can Be Done Biblical//Mcgi Topic Review (part 4)
Greetings everyone, and welcome to my blog. It is another wonderful opportunity to listen to the word of God through His servant, Bro. Eli Soriano.
There are many troubling things happening in the world today—wars, hunger, and the suffering of countless people. Sadly, these situations are becoming more common in many places around the world, and there is little that humanity alone can do to completely stop them.
For believers, our true hope lies in the promised return of our Lord Jesus Christ. His second coming gives us the assurance that these hardships will not last forever.
In Proverbs 1:23–29, God calls people to listen to His correction and guidance. He promises that if we turn to Him, He will pour out His Spirit and make His words known to us. However, the passage also warns that many refuse God’s call. Even when He reaches out His hand, some choose to ignore His counsel and reject His correction.
Because of this refusal, the scripture says that when trouble and fear suddenly come—like a storm or whirlwind—those who rejected His wisdom will call upon Him but will not receive an answer. They will seek Him but will not find Him because they despised knowledge and did not choose to fear the Lord.
The message here is clear: God wants people to turn away from sinful ways and accept His guidance. But if individuals continually reject His counsel, there will be consequences for ignoring His warnings.
Another promise is found in Acts 3:21, which speaks about the time when heaven will hold Christ until the restoration of all things—a restoration that God has spoken about through His holy prophets since the beginning of the world.
Therefore, the hope of Christ’s return gives believers strength to endure the pain, conflicts, and hardships present in this world today. We look forward to the promised time of restoration and the thousand-year reign when those who remain faithful will reign with Christ.
Thank you for taking the time to read.
