Greetings everyone, and welcome to my blog. It is another wonderful opportunity to listen to the word of God through His servant, Bro. Eli Soriano.
From a scriptural perspective, we often say that those who die in Christ are not truly dead but are “asleep” in the Lord. However, many people interpret this to mean that such individuals have already ascended into heaven, enjoying eternal peace and the presence of God. They believe that anyone who accepted Christ as Lord and Savior and remained faithful until death immediately enters paradise, while unbelievers are sent straight to hell to face punishment for their actions.
But this understanding is not entirely accurate. According to biblical teaching, no one has fully entered heaven yet except our Lord Jesus Christ and the thief who was crucified beside Him, to whom He promised paradise that same day.
The Bible also suggests that “heaven” is not a single place but can be understood in multiple dimensions, often described as three distinct heavens. This idea helps clarify that what people commonly assume about heaven may not fully align with scripture.
Those who have died in the Lord before the day of the rapture are believed to remain in a temporary or unknown place. This state continues until the day of judgment, when every person’s name will be checked in the Book of Life and each individual will be judged according to their deeds. The same applies to those who did not believe, though their experience in this intermediate state may reflect their actions—whether good or bad.
Teachings from Eli Soriano also speak about the concept of three heavens. It is possible that this “unknown place” is one of these realms he refers to, which may be explained further in future discussions on the topic. For now, the key idea remains that, until the final judgment, no one has fully entered heaven or paradise.
