Greetings everyone, and welcome to my blog. It’s another beautiful opportunity to reflect on the word of God through His servant, Bro. Eli Soriano.
MCGI Topic Review: Is Prayer Alone Enough?
Prayer is one of the deepest ways I connect with God. It feels calm, personal, and sincere. Whenever I pray, I believe I’m speaking to Someone who truly hears me and understands my heart.
The Bible encourages us to pray continually. In 1 Thessalonians 5:17, we are told to “pray without ceasing,” showing how vital prayer is in a Christian’s life. However, there are times I stop and reflect—can prayer alone truly be enough?
I’ve come to realize that prayer goes beyond just words. God desires something more meaningful. As written in James 2:17, faith without action is dead.
This means my prayers must be reflected in my actions. If I ask God for help, I should also be ready to do what is right. When I pray for others, I should show them love and kindness. Prayer should move me to act.
Jesus Christ demonstrated this perfectly. He didn’t only pray—His life was a living example of obedience and action aligned with His prayers.
