"When do we get to enjoy our laboured fruits?" To be honest, this question really kept me up late last night. I kept asking myself.

But what led to these questions? Don't worry I'll tell you

You know sometimes, it can feel like we're on this never-stopping treadmill. We keep running in the same direction or maybe in the same circle. Every minute we're striving for plenty of money, plenty of possessions, and plenty of success. Finding balance in such a hectic and fast-paced world becomes difficult.

We pray and struggle to make money, but when we make this money comes we keep praying and struggling to make plenty more.

"When will this cycle never end? Or does the living have no rest?. When do we just get to enjoy the fruits of our persistent labour?" I asked these poignant questions, as they kept me up late last night, just thinking to myself.

Probably there are several others like me struggling to answer this question. Because It seems that for many of us, our pursuit of money has become one endless loop, where we just work hard to earn it, just to keep on finding ourselves wanting plenty more. And sometimes in our quest for plenty more we lose the most valuable thing to a man. And that's our life.

I've seen people who toiled day and night, consistently amassing plenty of wealth but they never got to enjoy that plenty of wealth they were amassing. We call it creating a better future for ourselves but what if our future is limited or short? What if our future ends tomorrow?.

So this leads me to the questions like:

"When exactly do we get to enjoy our laboured fruits? Because clearly we're not taking it to the grave. Does it mean this cycle doesn't end and we just get to lose it all? Or we don't even get to find time out of this cycle to enjoy our laboured fruits?"

After a series of thoughts, I realised that;

In many ways, this cycle of continuous working to earn plenty money and then working harder again to earn plenty more of this money is a result of how our society has imposed so much value on material possessions.

Everyday we're constantly bombarded with these ideologies, we're constantly made to believe that we need plenty of this material stuff in order to be happy. It's painted and preached to us on TV, by our celebrities.

"But is this really true?"

While deep in my thoughts, I got to realize that;

Maybe the answer lies in us just simply redefining what it means to enjoy life. Maybe it's not really about how plenty of this money we have or how please of this money we amass, or how plenty of the possession we have but about how we as an individual choose to spend our time. Maybe it's about us, in our own different ways finding our moments of joy and fulfilment right now in our present moment, rather than us waiting for some time in the future when we get to enjoy our life. And honestly to me I don't think life is best enjoyed at old age.

Maybe the true answer will be found when we start shifting our focus away from amassing plenty of material possessions and refocus it towards better experiences, building beautiful relationships, and encouraging personal growth. Maybe when we prioritise these things, we'll find that we actually or we really don't need plenty money before we can be happy or enjoy our life. Maybe then, we'll even realize that we're already more fulfilled than we thought.

So to you reading this, the key to enjoying our laboured fruit is for you to find joy in our present moment, understand that there's more to life than this cycle. The key is for you to take a step back and understand this cycle never ends and since it never ends you must find those things that truly matter to you and also make time for them now!.

The key remains finding a balance between this cycle and our happiness. Nothing should be kept or built for later, enjoy them now!
