Bikes, scooters and accessories neatly arranged in rows and lined up stretching down the street, past the Media Market's doors. An arrow pointed to the designated parking area, where the bicycles and scooters could be left securely. Just before the entrance door that led inside the store a sign read, "Open for you, 24 hours online at www.mediamarkt.ch."
I pushed the big entrance door and inside felt like a veritable treasure trove of cycling and scooting essentials, catering to customers day and night. Helmets and locks filled the shelves.
The racks of scooters and bicycles gleaming under the fluorescent lights, their colourful paint jobs adding a touch of whimsy to the store's utilitarian atmosphere.
A faint hum of chatter filled the air, customers browsing the aisles and employees attending to their needs. In the background, was a faint humming of the store's theme song from speakers mounted above.
I could barely contain my excitement. It was like a treasure trove of cycling essentials, and I knew I'd find everything I needed. I let out a gasp of delight as I spotted the perfect replacement part for my bike, and the feeling of relief washed over me.
