We did it again, ha ha, to close with a flourish this 2024, we took a second trip to the beach, this time we decided to visit one of the most popular beaches in my country, this one is located in the State of Falc贸n, its name is Chichiriviche, and I consider it one of the easiest beaches to access and where you can spend completely relaxed days enjoying the beach and the sea, join me in this great adventure.

Lo volvimos a hacer, ja ja, para ir cerrando con broche de oro este 2024 nos dimos una segunda escapada para la playa, en esta oportunidad decidimos visitar una de las playas m谩s concurridas de mi pa铆s, esta queda ubicada en el Estado Falc贸n, su nombre es Chichiriviche, y yo la considero una de las playas m谩s f谩ciles de acceder y en la cual puedes pasar d铆as completamente relajados disfrutando de la playa y el mar, acomp谩帽ame en esta gran aventura.
On our previous trip we visited the Aragua State and one of the most beautiful beaches in my country called Bah铆a de Cata. The difficult thing about this beach was swimming because its waves are quite strong and it was complicated. My children could not fully enjoy a good swim at the beach and only played in the river and on the shore of the beach because they were very afraid that the waves would drag them away.
That's why we decided to go to the wonderful state of Falc贸n. This state has a great number of beaches, one more beautiful than the other, one of the most famous and well-known is Chichiriviche. Many years ago I frequently visited this place and I wanted to relive those moments. I'll tell you, I had been to this place for about 15 years (my daughter didn't know it, she's 11 years old) and I remembered it with its dirt roads and a coastal town that was a bit neglected.
At that time, the car I had took me about 5 hours of travel, starting from my city Barquisimeto. Nowadays we have a truck in better condition and of course the best driver. I, ha ha, loved enjoying this beautiful trip. It took us only 3 and a half hours, even though in my country the fuel situation has not improved completely. You can get gasoline when you enter the state of Falc贸n. For this trip we had the pleasant company of my sister and my son's girlfriend.
En nuestro viaje anterior visitamos el Estado Aragua y una de las playas m谩s hermosas de mi pa铆s llamada la Bah铆a de Cata, lo dif铆cil de esta playa fue ba帽arnos ya que sus olas son bastante fuertes y fue complicado, mis hijos no pudieron disfrutar completamente de un buen ba帽o playero y solo jugaron en el r铆o y en la orilla de la playa ya que les daba mucho miedo que las olas los arrastraran.
Por eso decidimos irnos al maravilloso estado Falc贸n, Este estado encierra una gran cantidad de playas, una m谩s hermosa que la otra, una de las m谩s famosas y conocidas es Chichiriviche, hace muchos a帽os atr谩s visitaba con frecuencia este lugar y quer铆a revivir esos momentos, les cuento, ten铆a un aproximado de 15 a帽os que no iba a este lugar (mi hija mejor no lo conoc铆a ella tiene 11a帽os) lo recordaba con sus calles de tierra y un pueblito costero un poco descuidado.
En aquel tiempo el carro que ten铆a me llevaba aproximadamente 5 horas de viaje, pariendo desde mi ciudad Barquisimeto, en la actualidad contamos con una camioneta en mejores condiciones y por supuesto la mejor conductora, Yo, ja ja, me encant贸 disfrutar este hermoso recorrido, nos tom贸 apenas 3 horas y media, a pesar de qu茅 en mi pa铆s la situaci贸n con el combustible no ha mejorado en su totalidad si se consigue gasolina al entrar al Estado Falc贸n, para este viaje contamos con la grata compa帽铆a de mi hermana y la novia de mi hijo.

There is something in particular that makes you feel like you are already close to Chichiriviche, this makes you remember that you are already arriving, it is a large number of quite tall posts and all brown, they are numbered and on this trip for fun and entertainment we were observing and counting them and in total there are 200 posts, ha ha it was an entertaining way on our trip to calm the desire to arrive.
Hay algo en particular que te hace sentir que ya est谩 cerca de Chichiriviche esto te hace recordar que ya est谩s llegando, es una gran cantidad de postes bastante altos y todos de color marr贸n, ellos est谩n enumerados y en este viaje por diversi贸n y entretenernos los fuimos observando y contando y en total hay 200 postes, ja ja fue una manera entretenida en nuestro viaje para calmar las ansias de llegar.
When I arrived at Chichiriviche I was left speechless as it is practically a city and not a small town as I remembered it, its paved streets, everything colorful, and with many different businesses, both food and beach items, here you can come with just your money and you will get everything you want.
We first arrived at the boardwalk, this is the entire shore of the beach, it is a kind of promenade where you can park your vehicle and sit down to watch the sea, just two blocks before I could remember the way as the rest is completely different from how I remembered it
The boardwalk is almost the same as the last time I visited this place, with some modifications but always beautiful, from there in the distance you can see some of the keys or islands, in this place you can ask for a boatman and he will take you on tours of the different islands in the place.
We wanted to go to the most famous one and the one we have already been to before, this one is called Cayo Sal, but we would leave this for the next day since today we wanted to enjoy the place, find accommodation and food.
Al llegar a Chichiriviche qued茅 con la boca abierta ya que est谩 pr谩cticamente convertida en ciudad y no un pueblito como lo recordaba, sus calles asfaltadas, todo colorido, y con bastantes negocios variados, tanto de comida como de art铆culos playeros, aqu铆 puedes venir s贸lo con tu dinero y conseguir谩s todo lo que desees.
Llegamos primero al malec贸n, 茅ste es toda la orilla de la playa es un lugar tipo paseo en el cual puedes estacionar tu veh铆culo y sentarte a observar el mar, a tan solo dos cuadras antes pude recordar el camino ya que lo dem谩s esta completamente diferente a como lo recordaba
El malec贸n si est谩 casi igual a la 煤ltima vez que visit茅 este lugar, con algunas modificaciones pero siempre hermoso, desde all铆 a lo lejos puedes visualizar alguno de los cayos o islas, en este lugar puedes solicitar un lanchero y 茅ste te llevar谩 a hacer recorridos por las diferentes islas del lugar.
Nosotros quer铆amos ir a la m谩s conocida y la que ya hemos ido anteriormente, esta se llama cayo sal, pero esto lo dejar铆amos para el siguiente d铆a ya que hoy quer铆amos disfrutar del lugar, buscar hospedaje y comida.
After spending some time on the boardwalk we went looking for an inn. We went down one of the main streets where we remembered that most of the inns are. My sister remembered one where she stayed a few years ago, this one is called Caracolito. When we got there there was no room. We were surprised that even though it wasn't high season there were a lot of tourists.
We continued on and stopped at one called Laguna Mar. I stayed there when my oldest son was only a few months old, ha ha 23 years ago. To our surprise, it was quite expensive since we had to pay $70 for 2 people for one night. There were 6 of us in total, so that would be $210 a night, so we decided to keep looking.
We went back down the same street and stopped at a cafe, there we saw a gate and the appearance of an inn, this one has no visible name on the outside so we decided to go in and ask, its name is Laud, we asked for information and decided to stay there, in this one we paid $96 for everyone with the right to enjoy the pools, the parking lot, a room for two and a room for four with the right to a kitchen, both with their respective bathrooms and air conditioning, the next day the room had to be delivered at 11 A.M. but we could continue enjoying the shower service, pool and parking while enjoying the trip to the Island.
After registering at the reception we went to see the place, the pool is beautiful practically just for us since there were not many visitors, the rooms are quite clean, the service is excellent and the place is quite nice, the Wi-Fi service is only in the reception area, this did not worry us since the phone signal is quite good.
Luego de estar un rato en el malec贸n fuimos a buscar posada, nos fuimos por una de las calles principales por donde record谩bamos que est谩n la gran mayor铆a de posadas, mi hermana record贸 una en la que ella se hosped贸 hace unos a帽os atr谩s, esta se llama el Caracolito, al llegar a esta no hab铆a lugar, nos sorprendi贸 que a pesar de no ser temporada alta hab铆a bastante turista.
Seguimos m谩s adelante nos detuvimos en una llamada Laguna Mar, en esta me hosped茅 yo cuando mi hijo mayor ten铆a tan s贸lo meses de nacido, ja ja hace 23 a帽os, para sorpresa nuestra es bastante costosa ya que por una noche deb铆amos pagar 70$ por 2 persona, en total 茅ramos 6, ser铆a 210$ una noche, as铆 que decidimos seguir buscando.
Nos devolvimos por la misma calle y nos paramos en una cafeter铆a, all铆 vimos un port贸n y el aspecto de una posada, esta no tiene nombre visible en la parte de afuera as铆 que decidimos entrar a preguntar, su nombre es Laud, pedimos informaci贸n y decidimos quedarnos all铆, en esta pagamos 96$ por todos con derecho a disfrutar de la piscinas, el estacionamiento, una habitaci贸n para dos y una habitaci贸n para cuatro 煤ltima con derecho a cocina, ambas con sus respectivos ba帽os y aire acondicionado, al siguiente d铆a la habitaci贸n se deb铆a entregar a las 11 A.M. pero podr铆a seguir disfrutando del servicio de duchas Piscina y estacionamiento mientras se disfruta el viaje a la Isla.
Luego de registrarnos en la recepci贸n nos fuimos a conocer el lugar, la Piscina es hermosa pr谩cticamente solo para nosotros ya que no hab铆a mucho visitante, las habitaciones bastante limpias, la atenci贸n excelente y el lugar bastante agradable, el servicio de Wi-Fi es s贸lo en la parte de la recepci贸n, esto no nos preocup贸 ya que la se帽al de Tel茅fono es bastante buena.

After a while we went to get some food since we hadn't had lunch. On the walk down the main avenue we found several supermarkets very similar to those in my city. The prices are quite affordable, the price difference with my city is very small and we were able to buy cheese, soda, bread and some candy. Then we went back to the inn to have lunch and rest.
After eating and resting for a while we decided to go out again, we went to the boardwalk, it was full of both people and places to enjoy delicious food, we were hungry again, ha ha, looking among all the fast food stands we found one with hamburgers, these were priced at $5 each, while we waited for them to be prepared we went to take photos on the docks, the heat was quite strong despite the fact that it was nighttime, we saw some beautiful cats and had a great time.
Luego de un rato nos fuimos a conseguir algo de alimentos ya que no hab铆amos almorzado, en el recorrido por la avenida principal conseguimos varios supermercados muy parecidos a los de mi ciudad, en estos los precios son bastante accesibles, la diferencia de precios con mi ciudad es muy poca y pudimos comprar queso, refresco panes y algunas golosinas, luego nos fuimos a la posada nuevamente para Almorzar y descansar.
Luego de comer y descansar un rato decidimos salir nuevamente, fuimos hasta el malec贸n, 茅ste estaba repleto tanto de personas como de sitios para disfrutar de ricas comidas, ya ten铆amos hambre nuevamente, ja ja, buscando entre todos los puestos de comida r谩pida conseguimos uno de hamburguesas, estas ten铆an un precio de 5$ cada una, mientras esper谩bamos que las prepararan nos fuimos a tomar fotos en los muelles, el calor estaba bastante fuerte a pesar de qu茅 ella era de noche, vimos unos hermosos gatos y la pasamos muy bien.

The next day we got up around eight, one of the things you should not miss when visiting this place is to enjoy the delicious empanadas for breakfast, searching among all the places we found a stand called La Maracucha very close to the boardwalk, there we were able to enjoy some delicious empanadas among them the dogfish ones, a typical flavor of beach places, I love empanadas with this ingredient, then from there we went to buy ice and back to the inn to be able to leave the truck and go by boat to the Island.
Al siguiente d铆a nos levantamos a eso de las ocho, una de las cosas que no debes perderte al visitar este lugar es disfrutar las ricas empanadas efe desayuno, buscando entre todos los lugares conseguimos un puesto llamado la Maracucha muy cerca del malec贸n, all铆 pudimos disfrutar unas ricas empanadas entre ellas las de caz贸n sabor t铆pico de los lugares playeros, me encantan las empanadas de este ingrediente, luego de all铆 fuimos a comprar hielo y nuevamente a la posada para poder dejar la camioneta e irnos en la lancha hasta la Isla
All the kids helped us out, especially so that my son could get on the boat in his wheelchair. I remembered the boat trip as a bit more traumatic, but since everything is more up-to-date, the boat is quite fast. I think it takes less than five minutes to get to the island.
The island is exactly as I remembered it, only a bit smaller. The locals say that it is because of the storm season that has raised the water level. Here you can enjoy a nice beach bath to the fullest. This island is like a pool, it has no waves and is quite serene, its color is beautiful.
I was still quite surprised because there were a lot of tourists, the island was packed, one of the locals offered us a tent near the beach, we decided to rent it and settle in, the security here is quite good, they are attentive to make sure everything goes perfectly, currently in my country the issue of insecurity is very calm, in these places you can walk around calmly of course always trying to take care of yourself but you feel a little more confident.
Todos los chicos nos prestaron la colaboraci贸n sobre todo para poder montar a mi hijo en su silla de ruedas en la Lancha, el viaje en Lancha lo recordaba un poco m谩s traum谩tico, pero como todo est谩 m谩s actualizado la Lancha es bastante r谩pida yo creo que se tarda menos de cinco minutos para llegar a la isla.
La Isla si est谩 tal cual como la recordaba s贸lo que un poco m谩s peque帽a los lugare帽os dicen que es por la temporada de tormentas que ha aumentado el nivel del agua, aqu铆 si puedes disfrutar de un rico ba帽o playero al m谩ximo, esta Isla es como una piscina no tiene olas yes bastante serena su color es hermoso.
Segu铆a yo bastante sorprendida ya que hab铆a mucho turista, la Isla estaba triplets, uno de los lugare帽os nos ofreci贸 un Toldo cercano a la orilla de la playa, decidimos alquilarlo e instalarnos, la seguridad aqu铆 es bastante buena ellos est谩n pendientes de qu茅 todo marche a la perfecci贸n, actualmente en mi pa铆s est谩 muy calmado el tema de la inseguridad, en estos lugares puedes andar tranquilamente por supuesto siempre tratando de cuidarte pero sientes un poco m谩s de confianza
I needed a moment like this so much that we spent almost all the hours we were there submerged in the water, it was a very pleasant moment, we returned at approximately 3 in the afternoon, we arrived back at the inn there we were able to enjoy the pool again then we showered and got dressed to begin our return trip, if you visit this place I highly recommend this inn since the service is excellent, the place is quite nice and the price is quite affordable.
Necesitaba tanto de un momento como este que casi todas las horas que estuvimos all铆 la pasamos sumergidos en el agua, fue un momento bastante placentero, nos regresamos aproximadamente a las 3 de la tarde, llegamos nuevamente a la posada all铆 pudimos disfrutar nuevamente de la Piscina luego nos duchamos nos vestimos para emprender nuestro viaje de regreso, si visitas este lugar te recomiendo bastante esta posada ya que la atenci贸n es excelente el sitio es bastante agradable y el precio es bastante accesible
