No podía dejar pasar esta oportunidad de participar junto a mis amados gatos en este increíble Concurso, para Esto he diseñado unas lindas capuchas con forma de dinosaurio,🦕 🦖 Y por supuesto los protagonistas de esta Publicación son mis gatos Negro y Tesoro, Acompáñame a diseñarles estas lindas capuchas.

Greetings dear friends of NEEDLEWORKMONDAY, today I come to share with you my participation in the contest: NeedleWork Your PET!

I could not pass up this opportunity to participate with my beloved cats in this incredible Contest, for this I have designed some cute dinosaur-shaped hoods,🦕 🦖 And of course the protagonists of this Post are my cats Negro and Tesoro, Join me to design these cute hoods for them.

Hace un tiempo le diseñe a mi hija un lindo suéter con forma de dinosaurio, de esto me sobraron algunos retazos de tela polar y con estos le he diseñado unas capuchas a mis gatos, Los materiales utilizados son sólo de reciclaje, de todos los sobrantes que me van quedando de mis costuras, la forma que le di a la capucha fue especial para que sus orejitas quedaran por fuera y no les molestara.

Mis gatos son una parte muy importante en mi vida, desde hace más de tres años me acompañan y me brindan ese amor incondicional, ellos para mí son como mis hijos y aquí en Hive han sido protagonistas de muchas de mis publicaciones, me hubiese gustado hacerles un traje completo pero los retazos que tenía son muy pequeños.

Por otro lado cabe resaltar que en mi ciudad está haciendo demasiado calor y sé que para ellos es bastante incómodo llevar algún tipo de vestimenta, por eso me pareció perfecto hacerles sólo la capucha y es un excelente disfraz, para las fotografías mis ayudantes siempre son mis hijas ya que ellas me ayudan a dominarlos y poder tomarles esas hermosas fotos, aquí les dejo el paso a paso :

A while ago I designed a cute dinosaur-shaped sweater for my daughter. I had some leftover fleece fabric scraps and with these I designed hoods for my cats. The materials used are only recycled, from all the leftovers I have from my sewing. The shape I gave to the hood was special so that their ears would stay out and not bother them.

My cats are a very important part of my life. For more than three years they have been with me and have given me unconditional love. To me, they are like my children and here at Hive they have been the protagonists of many of my publications. I would have liked to make them a complete outfit but the scraps I had are too small.

On the other hand, it is worth mentioning that it is very hot in my city and I know that it is quite uncomfortable for them to wear any type of clothing, so it seemed perfect to me to make only the hood and it is an excellent costume. For the photographs, my helpers are always my daughters since they help me to control them and be able to take those beautiful photos. Here is the step by step:

Para comenzar haremos la forma de una capucha en 2 partes sobre la tela, en mi caso combinaré los colores verde y naranja, hare 2 una para mi Negro y otra para mi Tesoro, luego haremos pequeños triángulos para simular las escamas del dinosaurio, con un pequeño retazo blanco haremos unos pequeños triángulos que simularán los dientes en la parte de la orilla de cada capucha.

To start we will make the shape of a hood in 2 parts on the fabric, in my case I will combine the colors green and orange, I will make 2, one for my Black and another for my Treasure, then we will make small triangles to simulate the dinosaur's scales, with a small white scrap we will make some small triangles that will simulate the teeth on the edge of each hood.

Luego de tener ya cortada todas las partes para la capucha vamos a comenzar con las costuras, a los triángulos les pasaremos costura de zig zag Por toda la orilla en dos de sus lados, en total serán cuatro triángulos para cada capucha de aproximadamente 2 cm de ancho.

After having cut all the parts for the hood, we will begin with the seams. We will sew the triangles with a zigzag stitch along the entire edge on two of its sides. In total there will be four triangles for each hood, approximately 2 cm wide.

Uniremos los triángulos a nuestra capucha por toda la orilla de una de las partes, luego pasamos costura con la otra parte de la capucha uniéndolas por el centro, cortaremos en tela blanca unos triángulos pequeñitos para simular los dientes estos se los coseremos en la orilla superior, espero que en mi imagen puedan apreciar como debe quedar.

We will join the triangles to our hood along the entire edge of one of the parts, then we will sew it to the other part of the hood, joining them together in the center. We will cut out some small triangles in white fabric to simulate teeth. We will sew these onto the upper edge. I hope that in my image you can see how it should look.

Le haremos una orilla con algunas tiras por todo el borde del rostro, luego le haremos otra orilla con tela como especie de sesgo en la parte del contorno del cuello, para abrocharlos le coloqué unos cascabeles y una gomita dorada para que sea fácil abrocharlos, los ojos de dinosaurio se los hice con un pequeño retazo de Foamy y marcador permanente blanco

We will make a border with some strips around the edge of the face, then we will make another border with fabric as a kind of bias around the neck, to fasten them I put some bells and a golden rubber band so it would be easy to fasten them, I made the dinosaur eyes with a small scrap of Foamy and white permanent marker

La tarea difícil de esta Publicación es poder tomar las fotografías, mi Negro es un poco escurridizo, en las tardes casi siempre se me escapa por ratos y me cuesta conseguirlo, Tesoro es un poco más dócil, con él es un poco más fácil el tema de las fotografías, aquí les muestro el resultado de estas lindas capuchas con forma de dinosaurio, espero les guste, en lo personal me encantaron y es que mis modelos se ven hermosos con todos los atuendos que su mamá humana les diseña 🤭

The difficult task of this Post is to be able to take the photographs, my Negro is a bit elusive, in the afternoons he almost always escapes from me for a while and it is difficult for me to get him, Tesoro is a bit more docile, with him the subject of the photographs is a little easier, here I show you the result of these cute dinosaur-shaped hoods, I hope you like them, personally I loved them and my models look beautiful with all the outfits that their human mother designs for them 🤭

Me encantan estos concursos ya que orgullosamente mostramos nuestras amadas mascotas, en mi caso mis gatos negro y tesoro, me reí mucho tomando las fotografías ya que negro no quería, en el momento que los cargué juntos tesoro se puso bravo y le lanzó un manotazo a negro, luego tesoro puso su carita angelical como si nada hubiese pasado, ja ja, es un gusto poder compartir con ustedes esta parte de mi vida que me hace ser una mamá gatuna, es todo por hoy me despido deseándoles muchos éxitos y bendiciones 🥰🦖😻🐾❤️

I love these contests because we proudly show our beloved pets, in my case my cats Negro and Tesoro, I laughed a lot taking the pictures because Negro didn't want to, the moment I picked them up together, Tesoro got angry and slapped Negro, then Tesoro put on his angelic face as if nothing had happened, ha ha, it's a pleasure to be able to share with you this part of my life that makes me a cat mom, that's all for today, I say goodbye wishing you many successes and blessings 🥰🦖😻🐾❤️
