Two words that are transmitted a lot in the field of personal development are change and growth, it is tempting to use "change" and "growth" in a kind of labyrinth, which means "to live a better life", but in fact, they are quite different concepts , the change is often radical, when you talk about changing your life, you may want to go back to university, move to a new country or start a family.

The change can be a unique event, some happen suddenly, like losing your job, the effects will change the days, weeks and months to come, but the change itself is relatively sudden, not all changes are the ones you choose, fact, many could come from abroad, some of these will be negative changes, others may seem negative changes but then they become positive, however, knowing how to manage change is important to make the most of these times.

Growth takes time, while a change can happen overnight, be it a change in the way of thinking, or an external change like becoming a mother / father, growth always takes time, you can not become a Expert in a day, or get rid of all your bad habits in a week, when you are growing up, you move in one direction, this could mean that you become a better father; working consistently, obtaining a degree or other qualification.

Growth needs motivation, although changes can come from outside, growth always comes from you, other people can support, help, but ultimately, you have to want to grow, you need energy and long-term effort, which it means that you must maintain your motivation.

At some point in our lives, we may have to face radical radical changes, sometimes it can be painful to bear or even contemplate, but on the other side we find a better life, the best way to distinguish between the two is to consider if the situation you are in could improve if you apply some thought and effort, if you feel there is no realistic hope of improvement, it could be the time for a radical change, there is no single answer for everyone in terms of personal development, and a person may need to change where another person needs to grow in a particular area.
