Half the year is spent washing this when our labor in the garden pays off. Lots of fruit, vegetables, wheat, barley... have arrived or are arriving for picking.I'll start with what we finished, we cleaned the peppers from the grass. The pepper was quite uneven in growth from the start and continued to be so.
In our little fairy garden, a meter-long string of green beans dried up during a heat wave. We moved the metal arches that supported the green beans to the cucumbers. Which did great here in an improvised flowerpot made of a car tire.
The hot pepper has small peppers. It is growing very well.
I'm not growing watermelons this year either, I'm probably wrong somewhere
But melons will soon be ready to eat. Two types, the pineapple type and the honeydew type, and both are thriving.
The blackberries are starting to ripen. And I think this year will be great for blackberries.
These are the first cherry tomatoes that are red, there were some before, but I had thieves. So I didn't manage to take pictures. When I say thieves, I mean my son and wife. They picked them before I got home from work and managed to take pictures.
And in the orchard, the late apricots are arriving. The fruit is large and sweet. Usually the early variety I have is better, but this year the later variety is better.
I would say that this year is good for all fruit. So is our apples, which are starting to turn red. I have several types of apples, sometimes I get confused which one is which :)
I'm not sure if the pear in the orchard is an early or late variety. It certainly looks nice and I'm following the situation.
And we're waiting, again, for the grass to be cut in the orchard.
