I don't understand this. Steem has a hard fork coming up today. A number of valuable STEEM accounts belonging to former community witnesses and investors will be drained to an anonymous account, which is tantamount to a heist of about 5 million dollars. It is unsure whether major exchanges will even support this hard fork. They have been warned not to support it lest they become accessories to grand larceny.
Why would STEEM pump except if it weren't for it being artificially pumped? But why? Isn't powerdown supposed to be shortened to four weeks? Or is it supposed to be instantaneous for the anonymous accounts into which the former witness and investor accounts are being drained into? Is the purpose of this pump to create FOMO for the thief to sell his stolen coins into?
Interesting times ahead indeed. Members of the Hive community and Vitalik Butering have been talking about this on Twitter. What is about to take place will not escape anybody's notice.
