There have been rain showers since the morning. I'm not sure if I'm having a respite from the heat. High humidity has replaced high temperature. It's only 24 C but the air feels muggy.
I'm not convinced buying an electric car would be the best choice at least if one does not drive very much. Interest rates are going up and there is a lot of demand for electric cars despite the high price. Small petrol cars like that have pretty good fuel economy and they cost next to nothing. I will consider buying an electric car once our old cars are ready to be scrapped, though. That won't hopefully happen any time soon.
