According to the The Finnish Meteorological Institute, the average temperature of July was the warmest on record in Finland. Reliable records exist from the early 20th century. The average (24 h) temperature of entire country was 19.6 C. The previous record is from 1941 when the monthly July average was 19.2 C. The peak temperature record from July 2010, 37.1 C, wasn't broken this July. This year's June record was 33.7 C. June was only slightly warmer than average but May was several degrees warmer than average.
Right now the temperature outside is 27.3 C. There was a rain shower a couple of hours ago. Before that, it was 31.1 C. Friday will be the last hot day after which the afternoon maximums will be around 25 C in the weekend. It will cool down considerably next week, to about 15-20 C. I welcome that because my holiday is over. :D
