Joutjärvi Beach

I dropped by the beach before picking up my daughter from school. @tarazkp mentioned the night had been freezing where he lives. It was a few degrees warmer here, though, and there was no frost in the morning at all.

This district is valued by many because of the short distance from the city center and views like this.

I must not have spent longer than maybe ten minutes at the beach when I was greeted by @gamer00. His business was the same as mine: taking photos.

That's a winter swimming place. My mother is a very enthusiastic winter swimmer but I'm one you won't see dipping into ice cold water in the middle of the winter any time soon.
