My drawing of Saitama using straight lines.

Good day everyone!
Are you an anime lover? If the answer is yes maybe you're familiar with this anime character that I just draw. The name lf this character is Saitama the main character from the famous anime One Punch Man, well he is one of the most powerful and overpowered anime character out there. And also Saitama proves that character with a bald head can be so cool also in the world of anime, because before I always think thay bald headed characters can only be a sidekick or villain and the long haired ones are the coolest and most powerful like the supersaiyan 3 and 4 form of Son Goku haha.

When I was thinking what to draw today and scroling in the internet to find some ideas on what to draw, I saw a video clip from one of the episode of this anime (one punch man) so after watching the clip which is fight scene I grab my pencil and sketchpad rightaway to draw saitama.

Drawing Process

At first I draw the outline of the character and add some details especially on the face.

my original plan was shading it using common shading style, but since I was practicing drawing using lines I decided to shade and add some details using straight lines.

I used different kinds of straight lines in this drawing like parallel, vertical and horizontal to create some details and shadows in my drawing.

then after I finished drawing shades and adding some details, I erase the overlaping lines in my drawing using pencil eraser.

then after I think almost or more than an hour of drawing lines, I manage to finish this character haha.

I used filter in this two pictures to make the lines more darker.

This line drawing really caught me because I was amaze in the fact that I can create an image just by drawing many lines, I think I will keep on practicing this line art until I can draw an image without sketching an outline.
