IMO it might be more productive to buy into a coin that is actually what you want, instead of buying into one and trying to make it what you want.
I buy coins that I think are good investments, it's not about what I want. Trying to make them better certainly doesn't harm.
If a coin has a flaw does that mean it has to stay that way just because it was there from the start? Why are we even doing hardforks?
I could say exactly the same thing referring to HF25: "SBD was always designed as a loose peg why are we trying to add conversions to peg it on the upside? If it's not what you like pick a coin where the stableasset is already pegged on the upside."
