Shake it up baby. Stitch and cramp - My latest XHAUST ride.
I just finished a 31.69km ride that lasted 1 hour 5 minutes 58 seconds !
That was a cold one, surprisingly so. Got about 5 miles from the end and started to get cramp in my foot and a bad stitch (which is unusual for me - the cramp, not so much). Also nearly hit a deer and a hare.
Power was about 210 watts average which isn't too bad considering. Couldn't quite get to an Xert breakthrough, probably due to a Wahoo ELEMNT malfunction for the first 5 minutes. You can see that my max power available (purple) didnt drop at all for the first 5 mins and then my spring finish hit nearly 600 watts but didn't break through my MPA when it probably should have.
Current Xert stats are showing an FTP of 230 watts, unmoving from last week
I think if i can drop some weight i'll feel a lot better. Currently at 87.9kg so running at an average of 2.6 watts per kilo. Would like to get down to 70 kilos which is "low normal" on the BMI scale. If i can maintain the power level then that would be an rather nice 3.2w/k. If i can get my power level up to 250 watts (which is the best it's ever been, along with the weight loss, thats a possible 3.5 watts per kilo. That would see me up the hills.
