Good day Everyone!

Back again with another skate photo to share with you guys!

This time it is my 5050 grind sometime back in last winter.

This is the third trick I learned how to do on a rail. First it was the frontside and backside board slide. If you are learning rails, this is the main trick you need to learn first before you step up to the other grind tricks like Smith, feeble ect.

Notice how the heel side wheels locks in and the toe side just hangs there. That is the main key for 5050 grinds.

Once you get comfortable with 5050's, then you will be great on rails. I have seen pro skaters conquer monster rails with this trick. As simple as it is, it looks great on photos and gives you confidence to attack all different sort of rails. These photo shows I am grinding this fat rail which is not the one I am used to. Believe it of not, thinner rails are the ones I prefer and this fat one is a challenge.

It was late when I learned tricks on rails, some tricks I just learned recently like 2 years ago, so if you are just starting to skate and you are exposed to rails, you will learn tricks fast and even get tricks you think you'll never had the idea of doing. Just have the confidence and know your skillset to avoid hard slams and bails.

Well that's about it for this trick. Thank you for reading my blog!!

🤓cheers.
