Good day to all!!
Today I want to share with you one of the known skatespot here in Abu Dhabi. The Corniche road ledge spot.
This spot have a number of beautiful granite ledge which is about 1.8 meters long and varying height which is perfect for learning new tricks. I learned most of my new ledge tricks here. This spot is facing the Arabian Gulf sea which gives a relaxing view after a tiring session.
In terms of getting kicked out, I have never been kicked out of this spot since I knew about it four years ago. This place is well maintained by the Abu Dhabi government and you will not see any garbage around. I come to this spot with my bike when I want a change of scenery from the skatepark.
The Corniche Road spreads across an 8km long stretch. It is mostly used by joggers and bikers. I knew about this spot when I was biking through Corniche.

Here is my bike, This is my means of getting here because It’s too far from where I live.
After sunset view. I love this spot:
I always say back in The Philippines to always respect the spots, because we were always getting kicked out even if it is not out fault. Other groups do some drinking and activities not really related to skating. I was glad I don’t need to remind skaters here to respect the spot. Rules here are different and breaking it have great consequences.
Cheers!!
