Hello Steemians! I'm so excited to share this experience with you guys.

Roaming around in Ilocos.

I went to Ilocos with my friends and our experience was so amazing. Ilocos has two provinces namely Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte and both of them have many tourist spot and popular destination.

  • 4x4

When in Sand dunes of Paoay Sand Dunes, we ride 4x4 and it really makes me amazed. I felt a little bit dizziness but it is worth it especially for the first timer.

  • Paoay Church

We also visited the Paoay Church, it is a heritage church, even if no one will tell you about this church, you can identify that it is an old church because of the bricks.

  • Playa Tropical Resort

We stayed at Playa Tropical Resort. It is located in Ilocos Norte, the rooms are very wide, clean and you can feel comfortable and relaxed, it just like you are in your own house. The ambiance of this hotel is really good. Playa have a lot of room types, they have Balinese type of room (what we had chosen) that can accommodate 1 big group (We were 14 to be exact) I also love their infinity pool at the front of our room you will see the beautiful view of the beach.

We also went to Bangui Bay in Ilocos Norte, where you can find the windmill, I like the cold atmosphere in this place plus the beach view :D Speaking of beaches, we also went to Pagudpud, the most popular landmark in Ilocos, Pagudpud has a lot of resorts.

When in Ilocos Sur, we went to Baluarte Zoo wherein I saw a lot of animals, it has a safari garden. After that we went to heritage village, it is an old village that has a lot of histories in this province. It is the most famous tourist spot in Ilocos Sur, it just like a living museum where all buildings and houses are made of bricks, an old bricks. We ride a horse that we called ‘’Kalesa’’ in Philippines to tour us around heritage village. You can see souvenir everywhere 

  • Baluarte Zoo & Vigan Herritage Village

Guys if you will go in Ilocos you must try this empanada this is the famous delicacies, their unique version of Empanada includes fillings of shredded green papaya, toge (mungo sprouts), chopped chorizo, whole egg and the dough they use thin and crisp made of rice flour. Instead of baked, their empanadas are deep fried which is bring crunchy texture.
