I took this photo in my grandmother bakyard.
In Philippines this flower is called Gumamela. I remember when I was a child, I used this flower to make bubbles, we crushed until it makes sticky. It can also use it as soap. Some people used this flower as a medicine for the treatment of cough, sore throat, headache and high blood pressure. But the most pleasant to do with this flower is to decorate, you can see them mostly in the plant box and garden. It is also beautiful in landscaping. Gumamela have different colors: purple, orange, white, red, and pink.
