My entry in Celestial Challenge by 
Our Lady of Lourdes or also known as Lourdes Grotto in Baguio, Benguet Philippines, it is a Catholic shrine and meditation place. You will climb by about 252 steps to reach through stairs (it has long stairs). Devotees go up to pray, light a candle and witness the beauty of the place. Many tourists goes to this place because they want to experience and feel the calm place.
Many people tried to count how many steps to finish and reach the summit, it is very fun and exciting to reach because you know what was there and the image of Our Lady of Lourdes. There are many vendors who sell candles and other religious accessories.
Lourdes Grotto was built in 1913, Filipino famous sculptor Isabelo Tampinco carved an icon of Our Lady of Lourdes. That’s why this man really did a good job because up to now, Lourdes Grotto stands still.
Lourdes Grotto is a perfect place to pray deep and solemn, the scene and view, plus the sculpture makes you feel the peacefulness of the place. You can communicate to God without disturbing you by anybody. But remember: There is no right place and wrong place to pray, you can pray anywhere as long you are sincere.
